Based on one of Amelia Liana’s newest videos “Unspoken Beauty #TMITALK” I was 100% inspired to go out and purchase a few products that were recommended by her. Not only is she a breath of fresh air, but she’s hilarious while she discusses topics we all want to discuss but are too embarrassed to ask of our family and friends sometimes. She makes the talk less awkward and offers her best advice to all of us. This trait of hers really makes her one of my all-time favorites YouTubers as well as a friend that I have never met who offers advice about all beauty (not just the makeup kind.)

I’ve sprayed the peppermint foot spray a few times now and I have to say I do love the fresh scent of peppermint because it is quite cooling. The butterfly mascara was not mentioned in the #TMITALK video but I’ve heard her mention it several times so I decided to give that a go. So far it hasn’t particularly impressed me, but I’ll keep working with the brush and see if I can master the application. Based on all the acne talk, I decided to pick up a new gel cleanser from a great brand so we will see how this works. Although I have an annual package at the European Wax Center, I need these facial wax strips to take care of business when I don’t have time to set up an appointment. Desperate times call for desperate measures people. No one wants a mousse-tash! I typically go for Skintimate two-pack shaving cream, but I decided to give this EOS cream a go. It looked particularly intriguing because it’s marketed as a shaving cream even on dry skin. My skin always freaks out if I do a quick dry-shave so we shall see the results with this cream. Something interesting Amelia mentioned was this razor from Schick Quattro TrimStyle for women. It looks quite interesting so I decided to throw it in the basket. Just throw it in the baaa…sket! Last but not least, the orange cloth you see underneath these goodies is an exfoliating body cloth. I’ve used it once so far, and let me tell you, it was quite painful . I suppose exfoliating skin may not be the most pleasant task you partake in throughout your day, but I am hoping the usage gets easier and less painful over time. I think I just need to get in the rhythm of using it and exfoliating to avoid backne (yes she talked about backne as well).
I’ll keep you posted on my thoughts on all of these.
All in all, I am quite happy I made a quick dash to pick up these goodies. We all need to take care of ourselves, beyond just the makeup on our faces and I’m glad Amelia brought that to the surface through her video. The girl is spot on. Check out her #TMITALKS video as well as her channel and let me know what you think. I’m sure you will end up falling in love with her videos just as I did.
What skincare and beauty products will you be picking up at Target?
