Balancing the pH on a Daily Basis

September 20, 2018

The following is sponsored by Summer’s Eve®, however the opinions are my own.

There was a time when I wanted to work out in the middle of the day. I hated it so much. I was just rushing for an hour and a half in the middle of the day, and it was hard for me to focus on the workout when I had 9378364834 things going through my head; IMs hitting my chat, emails zipping in, etc. I felt like I was wasting time working out mainly because I wasn’t getting everything done that I “needed” to. As you know, life is all about perspective. My perspective was skewed when it came to working out, so it was something I just didn’t see as valuable midday. Let’s be honest, I didn’t want anything to do with it but I knew it was good for me. Kind of like how I feel about some vegetables. I was also super frustrated after a workout. The sweat, clothes sticking to me, the heat and just being tired, all got to me. I’d have to go back to work slightly stinky, which is so not cute. The one thing I will say is that I had wipes. The wipes were instrumental in getting me clean and ready to take on the second part of my day. Sure a shower helps, but I needed something to freshen up and not disrupt my pH after a midday workout. This is where Simply Summer’s Eve® came into play for me in particular. I relied on these wipes every single day I did these midday workouts.

Now I am packing these into my gym bag for my early morning runs (if you don’t think I mean early, make sure to read about training for a marathon) because it’s definitely well before the crack of dawn. In addition, I have track workouts on Wednesday evenings, so I make sure to pack these into my bag on those days to ensure I can freshen up quickly after the workout in case I need to go grab some groceries or get dinner. Trust me, this is super important to my routine because the amount of sweat that happens after running anything past 3 miles, is just atrocious for me. Not everyone is quite so sweaty, and we all have our own chemistry. Mine involves needing to freshen up after workouts in particular. I’m just a sweaty betty like you’ve never seen, so it’s 150% important for me to freshen up without disrupting my pH.

The best thing about Simply Summer’s Eve® is that the products are free from dyes, parabens & alcoholNot to mention it’s infused with botanical extracts (love this!) so it’s a win win all around. None of the bad ingredients, but we’ll add in the goodones. The biggest misconception is that these products are for some women, and not all. That’s definitely not the case. These products simply help me feel more fresh after a workout; they’ve got gentle ingredients and they help to freshen without disrupting my pH, which is a big deal on an ongoing basis. Any woman can use this and it will be an energizing and refreshing experience.

When it comes to refreshing the body, and specific areas, what’s your go-to? Do you keep these wipes around?
