Being Comfortable and Stylish During NYFW

#advertisement When I think about New York Fashion Week, I think glamour, glitz, uncomfortable shoes, tight dresses, fabulous colors. Just the works. I recently wrote about how I go NYFW for free, and land some campaigns too. Every season I attend, I like to ensure I have comfortable shoes or if they’re going to hurt when wearing for several hours, I need Dr. Scholl’s Stylish StepTM insoles to ensure I can survive the whole day. There’s nothing worse than having to take shoes off in public places and I have seen girls do this at NYFW. At some point, the pain becomes so excruciating that barefoot is the only option. I learned this my first season a few years ago, I always ensure to wear insoles for flats and heels. There's a special offer at Target so make sure to snag some insoles!
My favorite insoles are Dr. Scholl's Stylish Step™ Hidden Arch Supports For Flats. In case you haven’t noticed, the trend at the moment is flats. Since summer is still in full swing, sandals are all in. Sneakers have made a serious comeback (which I am so happy about) but even though they’re flats does not mean they’re comfortable. Since I started training for the marathon (I know, I know I keep bringing it up every day and night) but I need more arch support in the shoes I wear throughout the day. Not just insoles for the heels, but definitely some for the closed toe shoes I like to rock several times a week.
Between all my flats and my running shoes, I need all the arch support I can get. This is why I purchased a couple of the insoles and place them in multiple pairs so I don’t forget to grab them. This is perfect for running if you’re more flat footed and you tend to strike hard with your foot. When I start to get tired, I put more pressure on my heel and then the arch is not happy by the end of my workout. This arch support helps my overall running form and of course, my walking form while in flats.
Dr. Scholl’s Stylish Step™ Insoles are definitely making my life easier and much more comfortable. I do like that they’re sleek and not invasive. It’s hard to even tell the insoles are inside my shoes because of the clear look. You can easily find so many options for insoles at Target in the foot care aisle right next to the pharmacy. Make sure to take advantage of the cartwheel offer to save some money; you know I always want to save you some cash! #DrScholls
