There was a time when I wanted to work out in the middle of the day. I hated it so much. I was just rushing for an hour and a half in the middle of the day, and it was hard for me to focus on the workout when I had 9378364834 things going through my head; IMs hitting my chat, emails zipping in, etc. I felt like I was wasting time working out mainly because I wasn’t getting everything done that I “needed” to. As you know, life is all about perspective. My perspective was skewed when it came to working out, so it was something I just didn’t see as valuable midday. Let’s be honest, I didn’t want anything to do with it but I knew it was good for me. Kind of like how I feel about some vegetables. I was also super frustrated after a workout. The sweat, clothes sticking to me, the heat and just being tired, all got to me. I’d have to go back to work slightly stinky, which is so not cute. The one thing I will say is that I had wipes. The wipes were instrumental in getting me clean and ready to take on the second part of my day. Sure a shower helps, but I needed something to freshen up and not disrupt my pH after a midday workout. Not everyone is quite so sweaty, and we all have our own chemistry. Mine involves needing to freshen up after workouts in particular. I’m just a sweaty betty like you’ve never seen, so it’s 150% important for me to freshen up without disrupting my pH.
