Let’s dive right in to my first impressions of each of these products!
The serum/primer is on the pricey side, especially for a drugstore product. I wasn’t 100% thrilled with it especially since it does have such a price tag associated with it. I had the impression that the primer didn’t help to keep me matte as I was a bit more shiny with the use of this product. The Fit Me foundation that everyone and their grandmothers seem to enjoy was not my favorite, and I think it’s due to the fact that I did not manage to scoop up the exact shade for my skin. It’s always so frustrating for me trying to find the right drugstore shade when I don’t have the opportunity to try each of the shades beforehand. I will have to exchange this color for a lighter one so I can truly put this foundation to the test. The baked blush is fantastic and reminds me of the Hourglass blushes. I’m still not sure that Luminoso is the best shade for me as it’s darker and doesn’t allow enough contrast with any of my bronzers. I’m going to keep playing with it because I am so in love with the formula, color in the pan, and just Milani in general. The Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick is lovely, and I knew I would like it because I did previously purchase a deeper berry shade. The L’Oreal Infallible shadow is gorgeous and highly pigmented for a drugstore eyeshadow. It’s more on the gold glittery side. The Revlon HD lipstick does need reapplication throughout the day but is HD upon application and lasts a fairly long time for the amount of pigment it gives. Lastly, the Wet n Wild lip gloss is the most pigmented gloss I’ve ever tried and it even leaves a stain once some of the color has rubbed off after eating. This, also, as you may imagine needs to be reapplied but the stain is very nice as there will be remnants of the color left hours later.

I’ve repurchased Rimmel’s Kate Moss lipsticks over and over again because they’re one of the best drugstore lipsticks out there! I would love to try the Milani baked blushes, though do you find them to be too shimmery? I prefer subtle shimmers on my blushes so I don’t look to disco ball-y with my combination oily skin.

I think the shimmery in some blushes can be extremely gorgeous, especially with a tap or two of your favorite highlighter. Although I suffer from oily combination skin, I’ve found that MAC’s Oil Control Lotion helps TREMENDOUSLY with keeping my face in check. It doesn’t eliminate oil, but rather makes the oil appear less noticeable and significant throughout the day. xx, Ada

The Kate Moss Rimmel lipsticks are so creamy. I have #12. I used the FIT ME foundation and found my exact match, but when I would wear the foundation it always seemed as if it never set. Although it was lightweight and I couldn’t really feel it on my face, it still felt damp to the touch after hours of wear. I always used a powder with this foundation.

Thanks for the insight Xan! I would definitely have to wear a finishing powder of some sort in order to set the foundation in place because I already have damp skin throughout the day (due to oiliness) and I definitely don’t want to double it 😉 xx, Ada

The Milani baked blushes are like the high end drugstore blushes that could almost be high-end, know what I mean? The packaging is beautiful (who doesn’t love a little gold?) and the quality is impeccable. xx, Ada

I don’t have any Duane Reades close to me or Rite Aid’s for that matter, but I did love Rite Aid while I lived in California. Walgreens & CVS for me here in Arizona! xx, Ada

Great picks! Walgreens is seriously my favorite place ever haha. I recently picked up Luminoso as well and I gotta say I agree with what you said! It’s a bit darker than I would normally like, but the sheen is just so pretty, I can’t help myself! I’ll probably pick up another Milani baked blush in the near future. I also ADORE the Kate Moss lipsticks. My favorite is 107. I’ve been wearing it like crazy this season. Thanks for sharing! xx

Drugstore hauls are the best because you pick up a lot of items you can be extremely excited about & it doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg. Know what I’m saying? xx, Ada

I love the Fit Me Concealer, but I’ve never tried the foundation – maybe that should be next on my drugstore list. I also love the shade of the Kate Moss lipstick you chose, it looks so pretty!

I haven’t tried the Fit Me concealer yet, but it sounds like everyone and their grandmothers love it so I think I definitely need to add it to the list. xx, Ada

Having the same line of lipsticks in 9 shades is impressive because I can’t find 9 shades in one line that I think would look okay on me. I suppose I do always go for the pinky or rose toned shades so maybe buying an entire line would open new doors for me 😉 xx, Ada
